Cheating Signs That Show Up AFTER Valentine’s Day

There are certain signs of infidelity that usually show up AFTER Valentine´s Day, if you have a cheating spouse or significant other. The nine post-Valentine's Day cheating signs below will help you confirm the existence of an affair.

1. A hidden gift discovered before Valentine´s Day that has disappeared but wasn´t given to you.

2. Receipts for the purchase of 2 identical gifts. (If he bought 2 heart-shaped diamond pendants and you got one, who did he give the other one to?)

3. Receipts or credit card statements for gifts like candy, flowers, jewelry, or lingerie that you didn´t personally receive. (Who got $175 worth of lingerie from Victoria’s Secret?)

4. Sales receipts, charge slips or credit card statements for gifts that don´t correspond with the gift he gave you. (If you got flowers and candy, who did he give jewelry to?

5. A thank you note or e-mail to or from your spouse for a Valentine´s Day gift you know nothing about.

6. Gifts of a personal nature, like jewelry or lingerie, that suddenly appear after Valentine´s Day, which she attempts to pass off as items she purchased for herself. ( Ask her to show you the sales receipt for that bracelet she’s suddenly been wearing everyday.)

Don’t confront your cheating spouse or lover solely on the basis of the 9 signs of infidelity listed above. .

It’s always best to build an airtight case against the cheater, which means you need to gather additional proof. Knowing what to look for is the key. Signs of infidelity never appear in isolation. Cheating Valentines Go Missing in Action on "Mistress Day"

A cheating husband or boyfriend will usually make every effort to personally deliver his mistress’s Valentine’s Day gift.

A cheating wife or girlfriend will usually rearrange her schedule so she can personally receive her secret lover’s Valentine’s Day gift.

Since most cheating men usually reserve Valentine’s Day for their wife or main girlfriend, the rendezvous with the Other Woman will usually take place February 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day – the day that’s referred to as unofficial Mistress Day.

Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday this year. Most cheating men would rather not risk the wrath of their mistress by making her wait until Monday to receive her Valentine’s Day gift.

That’s what makes unofficial Mistress Day the ideal time to catch a cheating mate.

Missing in Action on Mistress Day

Be very suspicious if your spouse or significant other goes missing for an extended period of today. Be equally suspicious if your mate concocts lame, or trumped up excuses to go somewhere without you this evening, or do something that doesn’t involve you.

Excuses Cheaters Use to Disappear on Mistress Day

Cheaters will come up with all kinds of creative excuses to steal a few minutes, or a few hours to spend with their lovers on Mistress Day.

Cheating men will usually devise some type of work-related excuse.

How Valentine’s Day Flowers Can Expose a Cheating Mate

Flowers are a traditional gift for Valentine’s Day.

But many of the flowers bought for Valentine’s Day will be sent or received by cheating Valentines, and will give those cheating spouses and lovers away.

The “cheating Valentine” stories below, show just how this can occur.

Cliff’s Cheating Valentine Story

Cliff stopped by his wife Kate’s job to take her out for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner after work. While Cliff was waiting downstairs in the lobby for Kate to come down, two of Kate’s co-workers who knew him stopped to compliment him on the beautiful flowers he sent Kate for Valentine’s Day. One woman raved on and on about how she’d never seen such an unusual bouquet and asked Cliff which florist he used. When she saw the expression on Cliff’s face, she realized too late that she and her co-worker had made a terrible mistake. Cliff hadn’t sent Kate any flowers for Valentine’s Day. The flowers were from someone else.

For Men with a Cheating Girlfriend or Cheating Wife

Flowers Sent to Her Job

Men, if your wife or girlfriend receives Valentine’s Day flowers from someone other than you, it’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that you’re not her only Valentine -- especially if the flowers are sent to her workplace instead of her home. If they weren’t sent by a male family member like her father, her son or her favorite nephew, then she’s got some explaining to do.

So whether you suspect her of cheating or not, stop by her job this Friday, since it’s the day before Valentine’s Day. Check out her desk or work station, if you can. If she received flowers from a secret lover, they’ll be sitting there in all their glory, since she can’t very well bring them home.

Brianna’s Cheating Valentine Story

Brianna received a dozen long-stemmed roses from her boyfriend on Valentine’s Day. But the note with the flowers read:

“To my darling wife on Valentine’s Day
You mean the world to me. Words could never express the depth of my love for you.
Your loving and devoted husband,
Charles

Although Brianna had been dating Charles for several months, she had no idea he was a married man.

Love Notes and Florist Receipts

Countless cheating husbands and cheating boyfriends have been exposed by mix-ups with the notes on the Valentine’s Day flowers they send.

If your name is Carla, and the note with your Valentine’s Day flowers says “ To Claire, with love,” – and he has no female relatives by that name, then he’s got some explaining to do.

Mix-ups with the love notes aren’t the only way cheating men get exposed. Check for florist receipts. The sometimes indicate that more than one bouquet of flowers were sent, and may even contain the name and address of the person to whom the other flowers were sent.

Valentine’s Day - the Ideal Time to Catch a Cheating Mate

Most people don’t associate infidelity with Valentine’s Day. In addition to being the most romantic time of the year, Valentine Season (February 13, 14, and 15) is the time period when infidelity and extramarital affairs reach a peak.

That’s one of the reasons why I conduct a Valentine’s Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign each year – to let people know that Valentine’s Day is the best time to catch a cheating mate.

The Great Valentine’s Gift Exchange

The National Retail Federation estimates that approximately $14.7 billion will be spent for Valentine’s Day this year, compared with the $17 billion spent last year.

A significant amount of that money will be spent by cheaters buying cards, flowers, candy, jewelry, lingerie and other Valentine’s Day gifts for the people they’re cheating with.

On or around Valentine’s Day, cheaters everywhere will either be giving gifts to, or receiving gifts from their secret lovers. You can use this fact to your advantage if you suspect infidelity, or if you already know you have a cheating mate. This is the ideal time to catch the cheater with the Other Woman / Other Man, or to get tangible proof of the affair.

A cheating husband or boyfriend HAS to buy the “Other Woman” a Valentine’s Day gift. There’s no way around it, if he wants to stay in her good graces -- and in her bed. More than likely, if they live or work in close proximity to each other, he will personally give her this gift.

A cheating wife or girlfriend HAS to make herself available to receive the obligatory Valentine’s Day gift from her secret lover.

If your spouse or significant other is missing for several hours on Valentine’s Day, the day before, or the day after, the “Great Valentine’s Gift Exchange” is probably taking place.

He'll Leave a Paper Trail

Regardless of how a cheating husband or boyfriend pays for the Other Woman’s Valentine’s Day gift, his purchase will leave a paper trail. ATM slips, bank statements, credit card bills and store receipts all contain valuable clues – where or when the transaction took place, and what was bought, or how much money was withdrawn or spent.

Suspicious Gifts She Receives

Men with cheating wives or girlfriends should be the lookout for suspicious Valentine’s gifts. Take note of any new jewelry or sexy lingerie she receives, or that you see her wearing on or around Valentine’s Day. Any jewelry that’s heart-shaped, is a dead give-away. Likewise, red lace, silk or satin lingerie.
